Stevenson was born in Aberdeen, MS and relocated to Memphis, TN where he formed his dynamic choir "Stevenson Clark and the Friends". Stevenson's entire life has been devoted to serving God through song. Anointed with the gift of song, Stevenson began giving God all the praise at an early age while singing with his family's group "The Clark Family" in Hamilton, MS.

His energy, humor and singing in churches and on various stages carried him through high school and college.

He is a prolific songwriter, arranger and singer capturing both the traditional and contemporary gospel music lovers throughout the country. He is a former member of the Renowned Grammy Award Winning Mississippi Mass Choir. He has performed with many famous gospel artists such as Doc Mkenzie, Vickie Winans, Lisa Knowles and The Brown Singers, Evelyn Turrrentine Agee, Lee Williams, and so many others.
His spiritual lyrics and harmonious melodies has stamped him as being known as the “Little Prince of Gospel Music”. his latest project Let Jesus Do It, featuring the hit gospel song “Help me” and “Stay with the Lord” is very powerful and praised filled.
