Under the leadership of Sister Sherial Hilliard, a group was formed called The Anointed Voices of Praise from Huger, South Carolina in July of 2001.  
The group got its unique name from a co-worker of Sister Hilliard. 

The group has been singing for eight wonderful years.  We celebrate our anniversary the second Sunday in August of every year. 

The group has performed with legendary singers such as the Canton Spirituals, Tommy Ellison and the Five Singing Star and The original Caravans and also groups such as Darrell McFadden and the Disciples, and most resent with Vickie Winans. 
The group has travel throughout the states spreading the gospel through songs and ministering to his people. We often do benefit programs throughout the year, which is our way of giving back to the community and thanking them for their support. 
It is always a honor when you can win souls for God through your singing. We thank God for allowing us to travel from place to place and to be a vessel used by him.

In March of 2006, The Anointed Voices of Praise became one of the Low Country Recording Artist with a CD entitled, “Look at what the Lord has Done.” 
Little did we know that in August of 2007, we would be releasing our second CD entitled, “Anointed with a Purpose?”. This CD is very special to us because all of the songs are a testimony of our lives.  

In February of 2008, the group signed a recording contract with Brite Light Records in Bronx, New York.  In May of 2008, we recorded or third CD entitled, “The Chosen One”.  This CD came out in August of 2008 and we did a CD release in December of 2008.  

We are now working on our fourth CD project.  The Lord has truly been a blessing to us and we take no credit, all of the Honor and Glory belongs to him, for without God we cannot do nothing, but through God we can do all things.
