The country-rock author project Granny Says, began in Brescia in the summer of 2005 with the collaboration of Henry Sauda (guitar, vocal and composer), Arcangelo "Arki" Buelli (drums, producer and arranger) and Simone Boffa (guitar and composer).

The quintet presents a fully original repertoire of its own, with sounds influenced by the blues but in constant search of new colours rock, pop, jazz and contaminations set free from classic idioms.

Henry's scratchy voice at the side of Ilaria's warm timbre, tell in english stories of life with its everyday joys and sorrows... blues stories.

The two guitarists alternating in the rhythmic and in solos different and well-distinguished with styles and sounds, are always pleasant and well-amalgamated with each other, thanks to a background of keyboards too.

The Granny Says band offers a show that strikes you for the personal and decisive sound, for the good arrangements, for the strong rhythmic section, and for the sonorities, which are of the kind one doesn't easily forget.

Began by the union of musicians with several years of professional experience, the Granny Says band made itself known during the very same year of its foundation, partecipating in festivals all over: Nave Blues Festival, Nistoc Rock Festival, Montiblues Festival, Magic Blues Festival (Ch), A.D.M.R. Festival, Idroscalo Festival, Treviglio Blues Festival, Blues River Festival, Festival del Lago di Como, Soiano Blues Festival.

To its credit the band has important opening-acts for internationally well-known artists such as: Scott Finch, Paolo Bonfanti and Jono Manson, John Popper (Blues Traveler), Robben Ford, Rudy Rotta, Sugar Blue, Nine Below Zero, Eugene "Hideaway" Bridges, Tishamingo, John Mayall & The Bluesbreakers, Watermelon Slim & The Workers.
